Pitman has a very broad portfolio of Solvent and UV printers. Manufacturers like HP, Mimaki, Vutek and Epson are all available from Pitman. These products range from 24” to 197”. Solvent technology is excellent for many types of outdoor sign applications on materials like vinyl banner. The unique characteristics of this ink allow it to hold up to the environment, with some material for more then two years. UV technology provides the flexibility to image on roll-to-roll media as well as rigid substrates, in many cases up to two inches thick. This allows jobs to be manufactured without the labor and material involved in lamination and mounting. UV can open new and exciting applications and is a logical extension for any wide format business.
